Welcome to the National Shrine of Saint Thérèse, Juneau, a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Juneau, Alaska. We invite you to experience the peace and serenity of this sacred place of refuge and retreat.
The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus. Those who accept his offer of salvation are set free from sin, sorrow, inner emptiness and loneliness. With Christ joy is constantly born anew. Francis

The Shrine has many projects that can use your time, talent and treasure. Here are just a few:
Adopt-A-Garden - The shrine has spectacular gardens that need constant maintenance and upkeep. Do you like to garden? Contact us - we have the right size garden for you, your family or your organization.
New Trail - We have a new trail that will wind its way around the Shrine. The completed portion of the trail takes you to "Mary's View" atop the bluff offering magnificent views of Shrine Island, Lynn Canal and the Chilkats. If you wish to donate $ to this project - contact us 907-586-2227 ext 24
Shrine Chapel Ceiling - Our Shrine Chapel is an awesome building made of glacier rounded stones with a spectacular post and beam ceiling. After 75+ years the beams need to be cleaned and resealed. Want to help us? Send your donations to The Shrine, 415 Sixth St. #300, Juneau, AK 99801
