New Reservation Guidelines Effective May 1, 2014:
Our cabins are run like a hostel and you are responsible for cleaning the cabin before checkout. All cleaning supplies are provided. Failure to clean or clean poorly will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
All reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
Reservations can be requested up to a year in advance. For example: Reservations for May 2015 may be submitted on May 1, 2014
You must be 21 years of age to reserve a cabin.
Day Use reservations are no longer available on weekends.
All Shrine facilities are non-smoking.
Pets are not allowed inside of facilities.
In order to secure your reservation, the deposit must be paid by the assigned deadline.
Additional Guidelines May 1-August 31
Two night minimum reservation is required.
Early check-in and late checkout is not allowed during the summer months.

Modern facility with a panoramic view. Built primarily from donations made by Vivian Kirkevold in memory of her late daughter, Heidi. It is intended to be a special place for people, particularly couples, to come for holistic renewal--physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
2 bedrooms (queen bed in each room); 1 bathroom; 1 custom dining room; 1 gathering/living room with view of ocean; kitchen - stocked with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots/pans/dishes/silverware (6 settings). Maximum number of adults to stay - 4
Food Prep: Renters provide and prepare own food
Heat source: Electric hot water heat and gas fireplace
Rates: Day Use for Meetings: $100 minimum
Overnight: One bedroom - $180 Two bedrooms - $210 per night
Linens can be provided (sheets, pillow, pillow case, towel and wash cloth) at additional cost
Individuals who follow the Shrine Mission are invited to request a reservation.
Shrine Mission: Located in an area of exceptional beauty and solitude, the Shrine will be a place of spiritual refuge and retreat for the Diocese of Juneau, other religious groups, and when possible, for other groups utilizing it with reverance and care.
