Post Office Cabin

The new Post Office cabin was built in 2011.  It replaces the original cabin that was built in the 1930's.

Main floor has two single size beds built along the wall.  There is also a full size sofa bed. The kitchen area has an electric stove, refrigerator, toaster, pots/pans/dishes.  There is one bathroom.

A small spiral staircase leads to a loft that has a full size mattress. 

Food Prep:  Renters provide and prepare own food

Heat source:  Oil heat

Rates:  $75 per person, $100 for two, or $125 for a family.  Capacity, 4-6 people

Linens:  Linens can be provided at $13 per set (sheets, pillow, pillow case, towel and wash cloth).

Individuals or groups who follow the Shrine Mission are invited to request a reservation.

Shrine Mission:  Located in an area of exceptional beauty and solitude, the Shrine will be a place of spiritual refuge and retreat for the Diocese of Juneau, other religious groups, and when possible, for other groups utilizing it with reverance and care.
